Your Money
Where are my funds held?
As detailed in ASIC Benchmark Five (Australian accounts), and in line with FCA requirements (UK accounts), we segregate all client funds in a separate account from our own operating funds. We only keep client funds in top-tier banks, such as Barclays Bank, National Australia Bank and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
What is your Anti-Money Laundering policy?
Our A policy ensures that we comply with the anti-money laundering framework set forth by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the rules of our regulators. In order to prevent money laundering conducted by individuals and organisations, we have structured and strict guidelines put in place. For a summary of our AML policy, click here
How can I check that a company holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) or is authorised to represent an AFSL?
You can check online at ASIC via a professional registry search.
https://connectonline.asic.gov.au/RegistrySearch/faces/landing/ProfessionalRegisters.jspx?_adf.ctrl-state=uw6fm46x8_27
You can search by Company or AFSL number.
For example -
TF GLOBAL MARKETS (AUST) PTY LTD AFSL number 424700
TF GLOBAL SECURITIES (AUST) PTY LTD , AFSL number 412816.
Any company not listed on the Professional register is not permitted to offer financial services in Australia.
If you are contacted by a company claiming to be associated or representing an AFSL you should ensure they are listed on the professional register and verify all details before opening or funding accounts.
