This could include promises of receiving a prize, money, a refund, or other forms of financial gain. They may also ask you to update financial or personal details, change your password, or download certain software often, but not always, as a matter of urgency.

They may also lead you to believe false information, such as your account is being closed or your financial institution/broker has gone into default, all to steer you down a path of divulging personal information.

• Require you to perform any sort of activity such as trading, payments, transfers

• Contact you from an email address that is not @thinkmarkets.com

• Ask for your passwords or two-factor authentication code

• Request you to download remote access software

If you receive suspicious communication - email, phone call, WhatsApp, or SMS from someone claiming to be from, or affiliated with ThinkMarkets, please do not disclose any information, or click on any links. If you are unsure of any communication from ThinkMarkets, please contact our client support team.
