Temporary changes to after-hours trading on indices
The unprecedented volatility due to the coronavirus pandemic has caused decreased liquidity during after-hours. For that reason, the indices will be on close-only mode for a short period of time per day, as per the below table:
||Close-only Time Window
||30 minutes prior to Friday close (09:00 pm GMT)
|FRA40 & ESTX50
||30 minutes prior to daily rollover (09:00 pm GMT)
The "close-only" option means that no new trades will be allowed to be opened during this highly illiquid time window, however traders holding open trades opened prior the cut-off time will still be able to close them.
This is a temporary change due to the unusually high volatility. Once the markets stabilize, the ability to open positions will revert back to normal and we will make sure to update our website immediately.
