We are updating the ThinkMarkets MetaTrader trading platform server names to improve your login and trading experience with us.
These changes are due to take place Saturday 12 March 2022.
If you are a MetaTrader desktop user you will experience a seamless update to the server name, you do not need to reinstall and can login as normal.
MetaTrader mobile app users will be required to delete and reinstall the app after the changes have been made. You will need to login with your credentials, your existing MetaTrader account number and password remain valid.

Where can I download the trading platforms?
Login to ThinkPortal > Platforms, this section contains links to the platforms available. Alternatively, MetaTrader 4 mobile app users can
access the download from our website.
Where can I find the name of the server associated to my trading account?
Login to ThinkPortal > Accounts > Click on the 3 dots next to your trading account number, then select the Account Information option. This shows you the server name which you will be required to connect to.
I forgot my MetaTrader password, how can I reset it?
Login to ThinkPortal > Accounts > Click on the 3 dots next to your trading account number to expose Account, Platform and Password Reset details. Select Password Reset to progress.
Will my existing expert advisor (EA) or custom indicator continue to work?
You will need to check to ensure the update to server names does not impact the settings or performance of your EA or custom indicator. We advise you to check before market open.
I use MetaTrader web, do I need to update anything?
No, you do not need to update anything however you will need to ensure you login to the correct server.
I forgot my ThinkPortal password, how can I reset it?
You can
reset simply by using the email address you registered with.
